OUR STORY

Hello, everyone! My name is Jane Cooper, my Thai name is Somrudee but you can called me Jane or Joy. I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredibly grateful I am to be a part of this wonderful community. It brings me so much joy to create a special place where we can all enjoy authentic Thai food right here in Priest River. A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who has come by to try our dishes—your love and support truly mean the world to our small family business! My journey with cooking Thai food started about 20 years ago when I first moved here from Thailand. Back then, eating out every day wasn’t really an option for me, so I decided to pour my heart into cooking! It has been my passion ever since. There’s nothing quite like the happiness I feel when I see people enjoying the meals I prepare. Just a little bit about my background: I’m a wife, a mother, and a daughter. We moved to Sagle about three years ago after falling in love with the beautiful Idaho landscape. Plus, our parents live in Priest River, and our grandpa is in Newport, so it’s wonderful to be closer to family. However, with long commutes to work and not many great restaurants around, I thought, why not open a restaurant here? Everyone deserves to enjoy fantastic Thai food close to home! With my dad’s experience as a chef at a Thai restaurant, we decided to open “Thai Garden at The Ranch” so that everyone in town can have access to delicious food without having to drive far. We’ve created a lovely spot for family and friends to gather and enjoy great meals together. We cherish every moment spent in this community and feel so lucky to be here!

Best Pad Thai I've had in a long time. The Basil Fried Rice was also very good. Was told by servers that the meals would take awhile but it was worth it! Will definitely be back and have told my friends to check it out. Glad to have another good restaurant option for the area.

An amazing addition to the restaurant selection of northern Idaho! I will happily be driving from Sandpoint to enjoy their delicious Thai food. Have both dined in and gotten take out and haven't been disappointed. You have to try the beef jerky and sticky rice. 🤤 So good!

I have been there 3 times in a row, and awsome every time. The cashew chicken is amazing and the sweet n sour is amazing and full of flavor. I tried the mango rice pudding and loved it. I'm trying the fried banana tonight. Awsome food
